Turquoise Coal is an independent record label established in north Wales at the start of 2012. So far we have released records by Spectralate, Heldinky, Irma Vep, Ectogram, Boreas y Gogledd, Normal Shed Uses, Scapegoats and Andy Bob Beaumont all of which are available from our shop.
When we started out, we made a decision to NOT have a "label sound" but to put out music we like, whatever the genre - commercial suicide possibly, but eclecticism is important to us and this bunch of releases may have little in common apart from the fact that the people involved would be making this music whether there was an opportunity for release or not.
